Jim graduated from Lynchburg College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. In 1985, Jim moved to Richmond, Virginia and began his career with Northwestern Mutual. He has since earned his Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, Certified Financial Planner, Master of Science in Financial Services, and Certified Private Wealth Advisor designations. Jim is currently the Estate and Business Planning Specialist for Northwestern Mutual in the State of Virginia.

Jim feels honored to have earned the confidence of families and businesses throughout Virginia and partnered with them to achieve financial security. Jim considers these long-term relationships to be one of the most valued rewards in his life.

Jim and his wife, Kappie, have four grown daughters and three grandchildren. They currently live in Midlothian, VA, but also enjoy spending time at their home on Smith Mountain Lake. Jim is an active member at Hope Church and, in his spare time, enjoys playing golf through his memberships at Salisbury Country Club and The Foundry.

Elizabeth joined the Fitzgerald Financial Group team in 2003. Since then, she has earned the designations of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER, Chartered Life Underwriter, and Certification for Long Term Care. Elizabeth specializes in analyzing the needs of clients and assisting them with the planning of their financial goals and objectives. Elizabeth graduated from the University of Richmond with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with concentrations in both Finance and Marketing. She and her husband live in Midlothian, VA with their sons, Jack and Peyton. Having been born on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Elizabeth enjoys vacationing along the Chesapeake Bay and is an avid Baltimore Orioles baseball fan.

James graduated with highest honors from Hampden-Sydney College with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Economics. He joined the team at Fitzgerald Financial Group in May of 2010, after previously working as an Investment Analyst for the Virginia Group of Northwestern Mutual. James focuses on servicing, supporting and growing the investment side of the business by helping our clients monitor and manage their investment portfolios. He can assist you with investment account questions, execution of security orders, and guidance on marketable securities.

James spent the majority of his childhood overseas and enjoys finding opportunities to practice his now rusty French and German. He and his wife, Alyssa, live in Church Hill with their two children, Emma and William. Outside of the office, James enjoys playing golf and cooking.

Meghan graduated from the University of South Carolina with high honors. She attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, majoring in Marketing and Management and minoring in Speech Communication. After working for Fidelity Investments in NYC, she decided to return home and join her Dad’s practice, focusing on servicing, supporting, and growing the business. Meghan works with our second-generation clients; helping them establish a solid financial plan in the early stages of their career.

Meghan and her husband, Matt, live in Midlothian with their children, Reagan, Liam, and Mason. Outside of the office, Meghan enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Sloan graduated from Sweet Briar College with a Master of Arts degree in Education. In May 2010, Sloan became part of the team at Fitzgerald Financial Group to service the insurance side of the business and has since earned the Certification for Long-Term Care designation. She is currently licensed in life insurance, health insurance & annuities in the state of Virginia. Sloan is the main point of contact for all insurance illustrations, applications, underwriting, and all insurance client service requests.

Sloan lives in Richmond with her husband, Todd, and their two children, Catherine and Hunter. In her free time, Sloan enjoys traveling and cooking at home with her family.

Victoria graduated from Roanoke College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She later completed her Master's in Human Resource Management at the University of Richmond. Victoria joined the team at Fitzgerald Financial Group in January of 2012. She focuses on developing and growing the practice so that our clients continue to receive service at the highest level. Victoria is the primary contact for client meetings, events, sponsorships, and the client website.

Victoria lives in Midlothian with her son, Harrison. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and relaxing with a good book.

Logan graduated from Virginia Tech with an undergraduate degree in accounting and information systems and a master’s degree in accounting. Before joining the Fitzgerald Financial Group team in 2019, she worked as a senior audit associate at Keiter, a public accounting firm in Richmond, where she earned her CPA. Logan and her husband, Jared, live in Ashland with their sons, Jude and James. In her free time, she enjoys baking, traveling, long walks, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Anita has been with Northwestern Mutual since 1996. She joined the Fitzgerald Financial Group team in February of 2020 to assist with insurance operations and customer service. In addition to her degree in paralegal technology, Anita is licensed in life insurance, health insurance, and long-term care in the state of Virginia. She can assist with insurance inquiries, including beneficiary changes, application questions, and premium payments.

Anita and her husband live in Midlothian, VA. They have two grown children and two grandchildren. In their free time, they enjoy traveling, biking, and spending time with friends and grandkids.

TJ began working in the insurance industry in 2014 and has been part of the Northwestern Mutual group since 2015. Over the years, he has served in financial planning, investment operations, and supervision roles, allowing him to gain a well-rounded understanding of the financial industry from an insurance, investment, and compliance standpoint. He joined Fitzgerald Financial Group in the spring of 2023.

TJ earned his bachelor's degree from Christopher Newport University, where he played soccer for four years. Outside of work, he enjoys running, birding, and photography. He lives in Richmond with his wife, Averill.

William graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. He joined the team in October of 2021, after previously working as an Investment Operations Associate at the Virginia Group of Northwestern Mutual. William supports the investment side of the business and is the primary contact for all 529 College Savings account questions and servicing. He can also assist with any annuity account questions or service requests.

William was born and raised in Richmond, VA. He and his wife, Becca, currently live in the Libbie Mill area. Outside of the office, William enjoys playing with his parent’s loveable yellow lab, Beau, fishing in Norfolk with his father, and traveling with his wife. He is also an avid reader on horology and loves to discuss both vintage and new sports cars.
